Candidate Pre-screening
All candidates registered are invited to an interview where, during a face-to-face meeting, our consultants will undertake a detailed assessment covering: work history and technical ability, academics and professional qualification, eligibility to work and availability for work. Beyond the technical skills, our consultants will endeavour to understand the candidates motivators, drivers and career aspirations as well as the suitable type of work environment for them.
Client Meetings
In order to identify the most appropriate candidate for our client’s requirements it is vital that we understand who our clients are. We will request a meeting whenever we take on an assignment from a new client in order to understand more about the firm, it’s service offerings, culture, candidate requirements and selling points.
Accurate Shortlists
We are delighted that the most regular feedback we receive from our clients, and candidates, is that we listen to them and actually use the information we are given when selecting a shortlist of candidates for a role. No recruitment consultancy will be able to provide a 100% accurate selection of candidates for a role, however the team at Austin Rose are committed to supplying the strongest and most accurate shortlist. In addition, we use the information we gain from each piece of recruitment with our clients to optimize the next piece of recruitment we do with them.
Tailored Service
Our commitment to listen and to act on the information provided by our candidates extends to how we work with our clients. The manner in which we contact you and how often, the format and number of CVs you require in a shortlist, any additional information required on candidate submissions. All will be tailored to your individual requirements. We aim to make the recruitment process as simple and effective as possible for our clients.
Market Information
As part of the service provided by Austin Rose, the consultants will offer as much market information as our clients require. Many clients simply wish to receive our annual salary survey and regular market updates. However others require a greater level of interaction, such as an annual visit from a consultant to support the pay review process by individually assessing each member of staff and the level of remuneration they should be receiving.
