Are you AAT qualified (or approaching qualification) with experience of producing year end accounts within an accountancy practice environment? Are you looking for a progressive firm where you can work on exciting clients, gain strong technical training and have the opportunity to study ACCA? If so, this is the role for you.
Our client are a mid tier accountancy firm, based in the West End, with a strong focus on property, media & entertainment, retail and professional services. They are extremely progressive, technically strong and offer a positive working environment. They are currently seeking an accounts assistant to join their team who will predominantly focus on year end accounts preparation but will also be expected to manage the bookkeeping and management accounts for one of their clients. You will be someone who wishes to progress both in terms of level of responsibility and to take on ACCA study (support for which will be offered once you have settled into the role and proven your aptitude for the work).
As the successful candidate you will:
- have recent experience of preparing year end accounts (and preferably some bookkeeping/management accounts) within a practice environment
- be AAT qualified or close to completing your qualification (the client would potentially consider someone at early stages of ACCA study)
- have the desire to complete your ACCA qualification in the future
