Description

Are you a TS Manager from a Big 4 (Top 6) firm looking for a promotion and more exposure to lead advisory work?

Our client, a reputable Top 10 firm with a growing Corporate Finance team, is seeking an Assistant Director to join their team. The CF team which comprises 2 partners an approximately 10 staff focuses on the SME and medium size transaction market, providing commercial, creative and honest advice to clients comprising a mixture of AIM listed and large private clients, some of whom are regulated by the FSA. The work will be predominantly focused on Transaction Services (70%/80%) with the remainder being Lead Advisory (20%/30%). The position will have a high proportion of client facing responsibilities, and will include some overseas travel.

The purpose of the role is to take responsibility for managing transactions of reasonable complexity within the department and ensure clients are provided with practical and efficient advice whilst developing strong working relationships. The role will also have business development responsibilities to leverage opportunities to maximise fee income.

As the successful candidate you will be likely to have previous Big 4 (Top 6) experience in transaction services and have excellent report writing skills. It would be advantageous if you also have experience of private equity houses.
