Are you a technically astute outsourcing accountant and bookkeeper looking for a new challenge in a progressive mid-tier firm?

My client is looking for someone to join their growing team to work in their business services department. This role predominantly focuses on the set up and management of international companies UK subsidiaries. This is a unique opportunity to work within a successful and specialised department.

The candidate must possess the following skills;

  • Compile trial balances and financial statements from prime records for management reporting both in respect of companies and trusts;
  • Update and maintain statutory records of companies, including understanding and preparing board minutes;
  • Possess a good working knowledge of operating corporate bank accounts which would include preparing transfer instructions (manually and electronically), communicating with the banks and general administration of the accounts in multiple currencies;
  • Prepare monthly bank summaries for reporting to clients;
  • A working knowledge of VAT compliance;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills required; and
  • Must possess excellent computer skills including advanced Excel

 

To be successful for this position, you will need to have experience within the accounting, banking sectors or worked in a practice where your role/s have covered the responsibilities detailed above.
