| Description |
Our client, a professional body, is looking for someone to join their team in the London office for a 12 month fixed term contract with a view of a permanent role in the future.
The role of Technical Manager will involve:
- Providing technical content for the audit and assurance www pages/social media, including the Future of Audit pages, as well as having oversight to make sure content/messages are consistent and information is premium quality.
- Being technical support to AQF projects and produce high quality leadership reports and other forms of output
- Preparing practical thought leadership and good practice guidance/support for faculty subscribers.
- Providing management and direction of SRAP, the accountants` special reports panel
- Reporting directly to the head of the Audit and Assurance Faculty
- Taking lead responsibility for the activities of SRAP consulting members on technical and practical issues
- Preparing representations to external parties including efficient and smooth running of meetings and timely delivery of assigned projects.
- Delivering high quality technical information to members for example, through writing articles for Audit & Beyond and Accountancy as well as the preparation and presentation of material at member events.
- Networking and build relationships with key players within stakeholder bodies as well as potential and existing members.
To qualify for this role you MUST be:
- A qualified Chartered Accountant with strong technical experience in the field of private sector auditing.
- A good communicator who is able to be flexible and react quickly to rapidly changing demands
- A Good project manager with the ability to cope with pressure of work.
