Are you an ACA/ACCA qualified Manager looking to join a local independent practitioner where you will take charge of the Accounts Department? Are you keen to work within a proactive and supportive team of driven individuals with an opportunity of working from home and a view to step into a partnership within the near future?
Our client is a 5 partner firm based in South West London currently experiencing growth in the business. They are looking for someone who will join the firm to become the first point of contact for a £800k portfolio of clients and head up their Accounts Team. If successfully offered the role you will not only take advantage of the ongoing training and professional development, regular social events but also an option of working from home up to 2 days/week.
The focus of the role is to manage the department and take a commercial view on all elements of the team. It is down to the person coming in as to whether they would be stepping into a more of a hands-on role with managing the clients' portfolio or if they would delegate client servicing part of the role to the team over time.
The successful candidate needs to:
- Be ACA/ACCA qualified
- Have a minimum of 5 years' team leading experience in UK accountancy practice
- Have experience of portfolio management
- Have strong organisational and communication skills
