Accounts and Audit Manager responsibilities

Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, acting as the primary point of contact and building long-term, pro-active relationships.
Oversee the full audit lifecycle, from planning and risk assessment to reviewing evidence and resolving complex technical issues with the RI.
Supervise and review the preparation of management accounts, statutory accounts, and complex corporation tax computations.
Lead and develop a dedicated team, providing constructive feedback, identifying training needs, and supporting the firm's recruitment and probationary processes.

As the successful candidate you will

Be ACA or ACCA qualified with significant post-qualification experience in a public practice environment.
Demonstrate experience in managing a substantial client portfolio and delivering assignments within strict budgets and statutory deadlines.
Possess strong technical knowledge of current audit and accounting standards, including experience with various accounting software.
Have a proven track record of supervising junior staff and coordinating team workloads effectively.
