Our client is a top 50 firm and they are currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Audit and Accounts Senior to join their office in Gloucestershire. As a successful candidate you will be managing a portfolio of clients turning over up to £30m and liaising directly with Managers, Directors and Partners.
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of clients
- Being responsible for planning and carrying out audit work, preparation of statutory accounts and tax computations in close liaison with the Tax Department
- Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with clients as well as managers, partners and the team
- Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team
- Making sure audit procedures are followed and deadlines are met
The successful candidate needs to have:
- ACA/ACCA qualification or Part-Qualified/Studier
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working in UK practice setting
- Excellent understanding of UK accounting standards
- Full and clean driving licence with access to own car
