Are you seeking an Audit Manager role in an extremely fast growing top 60 firm in North London which would enable you to manage a number of large and complex group audits? Would you enjoy a great work life balance and a supportive and progressive environment?
Our client, which has an excellent reputation within various sectors in this part of North West London including: property development, investment groups, importer, manufacturer, retail and derivatives traders with turnovers in excess of £100m. Whilst the firm predominantly focuses on OMBs, the larger clients include complex groups, UK subsidiaries of overseas listed clients and AIM listed clients.
The role will comprise of a workload of around 70% audits and as an Audit Manager within the company you will have the opportunity to lead large group audits with complex and technically challenging structures. You will be reporting to a small number of partners and will get the opportunity to manage a sizeable portfolio with fee income in excess of £500k. As the firm also offers a graded succession route with qualified levels from manager, to senior manager, to partner, this allows real progression opportunities at a measured rate.
As the successful candidate you will:
- Be ACA/ACCA qualified with at least one year experience at Manager level
- Have undertaken a significant percentage of audit in your current role along with managing a substantial portfolio of clients
- Have 3 years minimum experience in a UK practice environment
- Have led audits from planning to completion with a minimum t/o of £20m
- Gained exposure to IFRS or group consolidations (advantageous but not essential)
- Be highly personable with sound verbal and written communication skills
