Our client are looking to recruit an Audit Supervisor for their charities group. This division is one of the leading professional advisers to the voluntary sector, acting as charity auditors and accountants to well over 300 charities, including large grant-making foundations, housing associations, charities with complex structures and those operating overseas.
The charities group comprises partners and staff with a keen professional interest in charity management and charity audits. Many members of the team are also charity trustees and school governors and understand all the challenges charity trustees face
Your duties will include supervising audit trainees, preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and ensuring client expectations are managed accordingly.
It is an exciting time to be joining the not for profit team as it is an area identified for potential development and growth within the firm.
The successful candidate will have:
* ACCA/ACA qualification
* Audit based accountancy training
* Proven skills in external commercial auditing
* At least 3 years of experience working for an establish UK practice firm
* Proven skills in audit planning, fieldwork and file completion
