Austin Rose is exclusively supporting a leading city of London based independent professional services firm with c200 staff and a prestigious international client base. The firm has a friendly and supportive team environment with a flexible working environment and great benefits.
Following a period of growth the firm are seeking to recruit a Financial Controller to report to their Finance Director and take responsibility for managing the firm's financial activities, including reporting, budgeting and performance review.
As the successful candidate you will:
- manage a team of three junior finance staff
- be involved with cashflow forecasting annual budgeting and lock-up management
- be responsible for the preparation of management accounts and monthly reconciliations
- have responsibility for the preparation of VAT and other compliance returns, and reviewing payroll
- get involved in ad-hoc projects and systems improvement
Our client is seeking applications from candidates with:
- CIMA / ACCA or ACA qualified with at least three years' post qual experience
- Experience of managing an internal finance department of an Accountancy or Legal firm
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
