Are you looking to join a tech start-up in the e-commerce space which has received significant funding from US investors to support their exciting growth plans? Are you keen to focus on the technical accounting aspects of a fast-growing and acquisitive business? Would you be keen to join a fully remote working environment?

If so our client, a technology-driven company that acquires and grows high quality e-commerce apps, has created this new role as part of their rapidly developing management team. Reporting to the Head of Finance the role will be building a FP&A area for a constantly evolving business.

You will be the driving force behind all operating and forecasting initiatives, focusing on maximising and ensuring accuracy in our financial reporting, providing analysis, and ensuring alignment of business objectives to company goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing FP&A finance support to accounting teams regarding productivity, reporting and
    acquisition processes
  • Thoroughly track financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional
  • Establishing metrics that provide insightful analysis to take effective actions and make decisions
  • Assisting with planning of budget and creating forecast, and ad-hoc analysis
  • Ensuring accuracy of management data in our internal software
  • Participating in defining management rules, creating new articles and parameters for reporting
  • Managing Investigations and miscellaneous declarations
  • Continually improving internal processes and reporting.

As the successful candidate you will:

  • Have a good understanding of M&A processes and E-commerce businesses
  • Have a bachelor's degree in Business or related discipline, concentrating in Accounting and Finance
  • Have 5+ years of hands-on experience in operations, budgeting and forecasting
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Show strong MS Excel skills, experience with BI tools a plus.
