Management Accountant - Leatherhead, Surrey - Top 40 Firm

Our is a Top 40 firm with a strong international presence particularly in the offshore locations such as the Channel Islands, Bermuda and Switzerland. There is a significant private client element to their business and much of their work is bespoke, high value assignments.
The team are young and sociable, and this positive environment is something the firm actively encourage. They like to hire approachable, friendly and professional staff that will support others around them as well as be well placed to manage clients early on. The typical client base will include property investment, media, motorsports, publishing, engineering, LLPs, FSA related businesses, UK subsidiaries reporting to foreign parent companies and group companies.

Management Accountant duties include:

Preparing management accounts for UK and multi-national entities
Preparing annual accounts for limited companies, LLPs, partnerships and sole traders
Multi-currency accounting for overseas clients
Overseeing a team of junior staff
Preparing VAT returns including Intrastat returns and EC sales lists

As a Management Accountant you will:

Be pursuing or intending to pursue an ACCA/ACA qualification
Be a great communicator with strong inter-personal skills
Have the ability to work under pressure and in a deadline environment
Take a professional and committed approach to work
Be able to efficiently manage a portfolio of clients
Have good knowledge of IT & accounting software
