Personal Tax Assistant Manager – Inverness, Scotland – Top 20 Firm

Are you an experienced Personal Tax Assistant Manager looking for the next step in your career in a role with an exciting diverse client base in a range of industries?

Our client is one of the most prestigious firms in the Top 20 with a whole host of household name clients, both individuals and corporates. The firm has a well-earned reputation for treating their staff well and offering a flexible and supportive work environment.

Personal Tax Assistant Manager responsibilities include:

  • Provision of ad hoc advice related to the annual compliance cycle.
  • Support the development of more junior staff in on-the-job training and supervise trainees.
  • Get involved in firm wide advisory, committees and presentations.

As a Personal Tax Assistant Manager:

  • Be CTA or ACA (or ACCA and STEP) qualified
  • Have over 4 years’ Personal Tax experience
  • Experience working on your own portfolio of clients consisting of directors of owner-managed businesses, property clients, HNWI's, landed estates, non-UK domiciled individuals and non-resident clients
  • Previous personal tax advisory
  • Have experience of onboarding new clients including leading projects and providing training and ideally have mix of 50% Compliance and 50% Advisory
  • Have experience with working on directors of owner-managed businesses, property clients, HNWI's, landed estates, non-UK domiciled individuals and non-resident clients
