Our client is a highly regarded Top 100 Firm with a significant presence in Essex. Known for their supportive culture and commitment to growth, they manage a diverse portfolio including corporate entities, client money audits, and a renowned specialist Charity division.

Senior Accountant responsibilities

Prepare statutory and management accounts for a diverse portfolio, identifying key issues for Partner review.
Lead assurance and audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring all risk areas are addressed.
Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing timely feedback to support their technical development.
Act as a primary point of contact for clients, facilitating efficient planning and eventually leading closing meetings.

As the successful candidate you will

Be newly ACA or ACCA qualified.
Possess at least 4 years of experience within a UK-based public practice firm.
Have a strong technical background in both accounts preparation and audit/assurance.
Be proficient in cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks Online, or Sage.
