Responsibilities

Manage and lead an Accountancy team, overseeing the end-to-end delivery of comprehensive compliance and advisory services.
Serve as a trusted advisor to a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses with average turnovers ranging from £2 million to £15 million.
Actively recruit, coach, and mentor junior team members into accomplished, commercial business advisors.
Work closely with Partners to drive business development, expand regional market share, and cross-sell specialist firm services.
Monitor accounting marketplace developments to maintain modern, efficient, and highly competitive service delivery.

As an Accountancy Manager you will:

Review management & financial accounts, VAT returns, corporate tax returns, and digital cloud accounting solutions.
Build strong relationships with local business networks and prospective clients across the Midlands market.
Lead team performance reviews, personal development plans, and technical training initiatives.
Maintain oversight of portfolio profitability, job recovery rates, and service efficiency.
Collaborate directly with Partners on strategic client advisory projects and cloud accounting transformations.
