Accounts Assistant Manager – City of London – Top 40 Sized Firm

Our client, a leading accountancy firm based in prestigious offices near City Thameslink, is a Top 40 sized firm known for their proactive and driven approach to their clients. They offer their clients a great deal of continuity, demonstrated by multiple client relationships that have lasted for decades. Working with some globally recognised clients, including UHNWIs, the firm works across a broad range of sectors including technology, sport, retail, property and media.
Accounts Assistant Manager responsibilities include:
- Carry out first review of financial statements/corporation tax for manager/partner review.
- Review VAT returns and management accounts.
- Ensure that files comply with accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Begin management of a small portfolio of clients, ensuring that all deadlines are met.
- Be responsible for WIP and Billing.
As an Accounts Assistant Manager, you will:
- Be ACA or ACCA Qualified
- Have over 18 months’ post-qualified experience of reviewing accounts preparation assignments
- Be the first point of contact for a portfolio of accounts clients
- Demonstrate the ability to supervise and develop a team of staff

- 10am-4pm core hours
