Accounts & Audit Director – 6 Partner Firm – Guildford

Are you an Audit & Accounts Director, looking for a Pathway to Partnership at a leading independent firm in Guildford? Do you want to work alongside a diverse, complex group of clients? Do you want to lead a team and contribute to the improvement of the department?

Our client is a 6-partner firm based in surrey. They’re clients are a real mix of small and large, more complex entities. Ranging from start-up businesses to entities with complex affairs and assets in excess of £50m, they’re industry sectors cover clients in property, professional services and natural resources. With an overall friendly feel, the firm prides itself on its staff retention rate.

Accounts & Audit Director responsibilities will include:

• Managing a mixed portfolio of clients, providing Audit & Accounting Services
• Leading a team of staff, including qualified accountants, and trainees
• Contributing to business development efforts, converting inbound leads and referrals
• Involved in interview processes
• Contributing to the constant improvement and modernisation of the department

As a Accounts & Audit Director you will be/have:

• ACA or ACCA Qualified
• Over 6 years’ post-qualified experience
• Experienced in managing a large portfolio of audit and accounts clients
• Demonstrate success in winning business or a willingness to do so
