As an Accounts Manager you will:

Perform the final review of draft financial statements, ensuring absolute consistency with accounting standards and client records.
Lead the strategic preparation and high-level review of complex consolidations and group company accounts.
Manage, monitor, and take ultimate accountability for a substantial client portfolio, identifying work-in-progress issues, managing budgets, and overseeing statutory filing deadlines.
Deliver specialised advisory work and act as a key technical resource, providing expert guidance, mentorship, and support on complex accounting issues to the wider team.
Supervise, delegate, and review the work of managers, seniors, and junior team members to ensure compliance and technical accuracy before final sign-off.

As the successful candidate you will:

Be fully ACCA or ACA qualified with significant post-qualification experience within a public practice environment.
Possess extensive experience and expert knowledge in producing single entity and group (consolidated) year-end financial statements, as well as accounts for audit.
Demonstrate a proven track record of managing a diverse client portfolio and leading, developing, and mentoring professional teams.
Exhibit advanced time management, organisational, and commercial skills, with the capability to manage conflicting priorities across a portfolio to strict deadlines.
Hold strong IT capabilities, including intermediate to advanced levels in Word, Outlook, and Excel.
