Audit & Accounts Senior – City of London – Top 40 Firm

Our client, a leading accountancy firm based in prestigious offices near City Thameslink, is a Top 40 sized firm known for their proactive and driven approach to their clients. They offer their clients a great deal of continuity, demonstrated by multiple client relationships that have lasted for decades. Working with some globally recognised clients, including UHNWIs, the firm works across a broad range of sectors including technology, sport, retail, property and media.
Audit & Accounts Senior responsibilities include:
- Supervising the delivery of UK statutory audits from planning to completion for a variety of clients across all sectors taking a leading role on the team and/or performing first review of work
- Preparing work on the riskiest or most complex sections of the files assigned to
- Overseeing the preparation of year-end statutory accounts under UK GAAP and on occasion performing the first review
- Participating in scheduling discussions and contribute to the strategy and overall direction for the department
As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will:
- Be ACA or ACCA Qualified
- Have experience of leading audits from planning to completion
- Demonstrate the ability to lead staff during an audit
