Audit Assistant Manager – Charities & NFP – Cambridge – Top 40 Firm

Our client is a growing and strong performing top 40 firm that has remained in the league tables through organic growth of their business as well as acquisitions of several smaller offices. The firm offers excellent progression opportunities at all levels. Whilst they have a broad range of client sectors across the firm, they have recently focused on building on the key market sectors of Technology, Media, Hospitality, Education & Healthcare. These client’s turnover tends to range between £5 -20 million. They are recruiting for an Audit Assistant Manager in the charity and NFP sector for their Cambridge office!
Audit Assistant Manager responsibilities include:
- Planning and completing statutory audits of charity and not-for-profit clients
- Leading the audit team and making sure procedures are followed
- Supervising and supporting work of junior team members
- Developing and maintaining good relationships with clients
As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will:
- Be ACA or ACCA Qualified
- Have over 18 months’ post-qualified experience of leading audits from planning to completion
- Be experienced in managing a small portfolio of clients
- Demonstrate the ability to supervise and develop a team of staff
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of, or passion for the charity and not-for-profit sector
