Audit Assistant Manager responsibilities include:

Overseeing the planning and execution of audit engagements across a varied client base
Reviewing statutory financial statements and accompanying working papers
Managing a mixed portfolio of clients, organising the portfolio and assignments from start to finish
Building and maintaining trusted client relationships, acting as a key point of contact
Supporting the management of the team, including workload planning and performance appraisals
Mentoring and developing junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will:

Be ACA or ACCA Qualified
Have over 18 months’ post-qualified experience of leading audits from planning to completion
Be experienced in managing a small portfolio of clients
Demonstrate the ability to supervise and develop a team of staff
Have strong experience working under UK GAAP, IFRS exposure would be a bonus
