Audit Assistant Manager position - Leatherhead - Top 40 Firm - Professional Services

Are you an Audit Senior looking for a step up to a Supervisory role in a Top 40 firm? Are you looking for a local role that can still offer a variety of client sectors, sizes and workload?

Our client is a Top 40 firm with strong international presence and an established base in Surrey. Their client base typically includes Property, Media, Motorsports and Engineering, ranging from High-Net-Worth individuals to large groups. The team are young and sociable, encouraging a positive and proactive working environment.

Your responsibilities as an Audit Assistant Manager will include:

Working closely with managers and directors to undertake audit risk assessments, audit planning and to deal with audit and accounting issues arising during your work
Extensive liaising with clients throughout the audit processes of planning, fieldwork and completion
Preparation of statutory financial statements for big 4 firm's audit clients
Review and documentation of internal control procedures and systems
Acquisition and disposal due diligence exercises

As an Audit Assistant Manager you will:

Be ACA or ACCA Qualified
Have over 18 months' post-qualified experience of leading audits from planning to completion
Be experienced in managing a small portfolio of clients
Demonstrate the ability to supervise and develop a team of staff
Preferably have working knowledge of ProAudit, Caseware and Alphatax
Have experience of external auditing of small and medium sized enterprises under UK GAAP
Ideally have some experience auditing large, consolidated group structures
