Audit Manager – Top 50 Firm – Uxbridge, West London

Our client is a rapidly expanding medium-sized firm of accountants specialising in audit and tax planning for small to medium-sized owner managed businesses. The firm have been providing audit and assurance, consulting, financial advisory, risk management and tax services to owner-managers and corporates since 1899. They are one of the Top 50 accounting firms in the UK with now 23 partners and over 160 employees spread over their offices. Their client’s range in size from companies turning over a few hundred thousand pounds to large groups turning over £300 million. Sectors include Charities, Construction, Healthcare, Legal, Media, Property, Travel and Retail.
Audit Manager responsibilities include:
- Liaising with clients and managing client expectations.
- Organising and running all accounting and audit assignments for the portfolio.
- Supervising and reviewing staff output, primarily accounts for audit production.
- Reporting directly to the partner and attending client audit and accounts meetings.
- Organising pre-year-end tax planning work and devising appropriate tax strategies for clients.
As an Audit Manager, you will:
- Be ACA or ACCA Qualified
- Have over 3 years’ post-qualified experience
- Be experienced in managing a portfolio of clients
- Demonstrate the ability to manage and develop a team of staff
- Preferably have working knowledge of Digita and Caseware
