As an Audit Manager - Charities/Not for profit you will:

Manage assignments from initial planning through to completion for partner approval, ensuring technical work is carried out to the highest standard.
Oversee job costs, billing, and work in progress across a client portfolio with turnovers typically ranging from £1 million up to £20 million.
Plan, review, and finalise audit work, preparing and reviewing deliverable documents for charity senior managers and trustees.
Support business development for the firm by identifying new opportunities and assisting with the tender process.
Collaborate with corporate audit and accounts colleagues to support the firm’s strategic aims, marketing, and commercial objectives.

As the successful candidate you will:

Bring demonstrable experience in charity or not-for-profit audit within professional services, managing client portfolios effectively.
Demonstrate excellent technical knowledge of charity accounting, auditing standards, and financial reporting within the NFP sector.
Possess strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage audit teams, oversee workflow, and guide staff through complex audit challenges.
Exhibit excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships across all organisational levels and directly with charity trustees and senior management.
Display proficient attention to detail and the ability to balance multiple priorities to deliver engagements to strict timelines.
