We’re working in partnership with a well-established and highly respected Top 100 accountancy practice, to recruit an ambitious Audit Senior for their Manchester office.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a firm known for its supportive culture, strong progression pathways, and exposure to a diverse client portfolio.

Audit Senior Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning, leading, and completing audit assignments from start to finish
• Supervising, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior team members
• Preparing financial statements for a range of clients
• Supporting managers and acting as a key point of contact for clients
• Contributing to ad-hoc assignments and cross-office projects
• (Optional) Supporting corporation tax work

As an Audit Senior you will be/have:

• ACA or ACCA Qualified
• Experience of leading audits from planning to completion
• Demonstrate the ability to lead staff during an audit
• ACA / ACCA qualified (or close to qualifying)
• At least 2 years’ experience in audit within practice
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with clients
• Solid technical knowledge and attention to detail
• Experience with software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or CCH (desirable, not essential)
• A proactive mindset with a genuine desire to develop
