This Independent Firm of Accountants offers a full range of accountancy, audit, tax, payroll and advisory services. They work with a broad client base across SMEs, charities, clubs, not-for-profit organisations and professional services, providing a collaborative, supportive, and people-focused environment where client relationships are genuinely valued.

As an Audit Senior you will:

Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, working closely with managers and senior team members to deliver a high-quality client service.
Act as a key point of contact for clients during assignments, identifying areas where they may benefit from additional support or advice.
Review audit files and work prepared by junior members of the team, ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
Support, mentor, and coach trainees on audit engagements while preparing statutory accounts and associated corporation tax work where required.

As the successful candidate you will:

Be ACA or ACCA qualified, or close to qualifying, with proven experience working within an accountancy practice environment.
Demonstrate technical strength with a good knowledge of UK GAAP and audit standards.
Exhibit confidence leading audit assignments, managing deadlines effectively, and liaising directly with clients.
