Banking Audit Senior – City of London – Top 15 Firm

Banking Audit Senior responsibilities include:

Allocate sections to junior staff and brief on what is expected of them
Monitor the progress of jobs, ensuring that budgets and deadlines are managed appropriately
Responsible for final analytical reviews
Draft letters to clients in relation to the audit/accounts
Preparation or review of financial statements
Provide technical advice and guidance to more junior staff - give detailed help and training as required, to enhance future effectiveness

As a Banking Audit Senior, you will:

Be ACA or ACCA Qualified
Have experience of leading audits from planning to completion
Demonstrate the ability to lead staff during an audit
Preferably have working knowledge of Caseware or Sage
Have experience of external auditing of Financial Services Clients
Have experience of external auditing of listed corporations under IFRS and UK GAAP
Ideally have audited large, consolidated group structures
Demonstrate a strong knowledge of, or passion for the Banking sector
