Bookkeeper Position - West End London - Top 70 Accountancy Firm

Are you a Bookkeeper seeking a new opportunity at a Top 70 firm?

Our client is the UK's largest ACCA practice, with 20 Partners and 100 staff based out of their office in Central London. They provide a full suite of accounting services for a wide range of media, entertainment, legal and retail clients, from SMEs and celebrities to Blue Chip Corporates. A market leader in the progression they offer their team members, the firm has seen a lot of recent promotions as they continue to grow rapidly.

Bookkeeper responsibilities will include:

Bookkeeping to final TB. This would involve understanding the year end process, entering opening and closing balances for adjusted trial balance.
Calculating and posting accruals and prepayments, depreciation and other yearend journals.
Prepare management accounts from information and documentation received from clients, ensuring that all relevant deadlines are met.
Liaise with clients directly or through relevant manager to resolve queries or obtain further information

As a bookkeeper - you will:

Be ACA or ACCA Part-Qualified, or AAT Qualified (Ideally with first time passes)
Ideally, have at least 2 years bookkeeping experience including management accounts, and VAT returns
Demonstrate the desire to complete your qualification
Preferably have working knowledge of Xero, Sage, Quickbooks
Have experience of onboarding new clients including preparing proposals and providing training
Ideally have strong knowledge of the range of cloud accounting software and associated Apps
Demonstrate a strong knowledge of, or passion for, the financial services sector
