Finance Manager

Are you a Finance Manager with previous experience in a sole charge role seeking a six-month contract based in Shoreditch?

Our client a media company based in Shoreditch is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager on a six-month fixed term contract. The Finance Manager will be responsible for the management of the day-to-day finance function reporting to the directors and working closely with the external accountants to meet the year end statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of monthly management reports and weekly cashflow forecasts. Liaising with external accountants on a frequent basis for quarterly management reporting.
Working in a sole charge role covering all aspects of Bookkeeping and Accounts Payable.
Overseeing debt collection and accounts receivable.
Processing purchase and sales invoices and overseeing debt collection and accounts receivable
Daily bank reconciliations
Reconciliation of expenses, petty cash, bank accounts and credit card statements.
Quarterly VAT returns for eight companies within the group – HMRC Submissions
Intercompany reconciliations, billings, invoicing and balances
Complete month end reconciliations.
Working closely with the external accountants to ensure that the company meets all statutory and regulatory requirements
