Financial Reporting Accountant – City of London – Top 30 Firm

Our client is a Top 30 firm known for their proactive and driven approach, close-knit teams and vibrant social events. As the largest single office accountancy firm in the UK, the firm is comprised of various specialised teams, led by home-grown, experienced partners.

Financial Reporting Accountant responsibilities include:

• Managing a growing portfolio, regularly liaising with clients
• Preparing financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS
• Preparing detailed consolidation workings for groups to support the financial statement preparation process
• Monthly/quarterly management accounts and VAT reporting
• Delegating, supervising, and reviewing the work of junior members of the team

As a Financial Reporting Accountant, you will:

• Be ACA or ACCA Qualified
• Have post-qualified experience with strong exposure to financial reporting advisory assignments
• Have knowledge and experience of FRS102
• Be experienced in working with large and complex clients
• Client facing experience
• Demonstrate the ability to supervise and develop a team of staff

• 35-hour week
• 9am-5pm core hours
