Management Accountant – Financial Services – Top 30 Firm – London 

Are you a Management Accountant in practice looking to specialise in Financial Services clients at a Top 30 firm in London?

Our client is a Top 30 firm known for their proactive and driven approach, close-knit teams and vibrant social events. As the largest single office accountancy firm in the UK, the firm is comprised of various specialised teams, led by home-grown, experienced partners.

Management Accountant responsibilities will include:

• Managing a growing portfolio of financial services clients
• Prepare management accounts and statutory financial reports, including consolidated accounts
• Prepare/ review VAT returns, including understanding of partial exemption rules
• Supervising and reviewing work of more junior staff
• Support Managers with client pitches and meetings

As a Management Accountant you will be/have:

• ACA or ACCA Qualified
• Over 18 months’ post-qualified experience of reviewing management accounts and complex bookkeeping assignments
• The first point of contact for a portfolio of management accounts clients
• Demonstrate the ability to supervise and develop a team of staff
• FCA client exposure desirable, but not essential

In return, as a Management Accountant, you will receive:

• 35-hour week
• 9am-5pm core hours
• private medical
