Outsourcing Assistant Manager – Birmingham – Top 10 Firm

Are you an accounts and outsourcing specialist who enjoys delivering a variety of projects and building exceptional client relationships?

Our client is a multi-award winning Top 10 Practice, part of a global network of 1000 offices in over 100 countries. As a major contender to the big 4, the firm services a wide range of sectors. The firm act as a business partner, helping their clients achieve their goals, whilst materialising further goals for the future. 

Outsourcing Assistant Manager responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and managing the delivery of management accounts for our client base varying from start ups to AIM listed businesses
  • Reviewing VAT returns for clients prepared by junior members of the team
  • Coaching junior members of the team on technical matters
  • Managing a portfolio of clients
  • Managing budgets for client work and have a thorough understanding of the firm’s billing procedures and key commercial KPIs

As an Outsourcing Assistant Manager, you will:

  • Be ACA or ACCA Qualified
  • Have over 18 months’ post-qualified experience of reviewing management accounts and complex bookkeeping assignments
  • Be the first point of contact for a portfolio of management accounts clients
  • Demonstrate the ability to supervise and develop a team of staff

In return, as an Outsourcing Assistant Manager, you will receive:

  • 35-hour week
  • paid overtime
  • 25 days holiday
  • hybrid working (50% working from home)
