Part-Time Corporate Tax Senior Manager – 9 Partner Firm – Tunbridge Wells, Kent
Are you a Part-Time Corporate Tax professional looking to carry this on at Senior Manager level at a fast-growing local firm in Kent? Does working on a varied portfolio of clients including property and hospitality appeal to you? Do you enjoy advisory work with little to no staff management and want to continue this?
Our client is an accountancy firm with a traditional, general practice approach to their clients but with a modern and entrepreneurial approach to how they work. With approximately 70 staff and 9 Partners based across 8 offices, including their outsourcing brand, the firm are continuing to grow at a strong but steady and sustainable rate. The client base is broad but has a strength in property and hospitality ranging from entrepreneurial start-ups to large groups with turnovers in excess of £200m.
Corporate Tax Senior Manager responsibilities will include:
- Restructuring corporate groups.
- Responsible for managing billing and work in progress
- Assisting colleagues at all levels with tax queries on a diverse portfolio of clients, including small businesses and corporate clients.
- Prepare and review tax computations, tax returns and supporting documents in line with deadlines and tax regulations.
- Offer tax planning and advisory services to clients, helping them optimise their tax positions.
- Research complex tax issues and provide practical, solutions-driven advice.
As a Corporate Tax Senior Manager you will be/have:
- CTA qualified
- Over 7 years’ Corporate Tax experience
- Extensive experience working on a portfolio of clients
- Experience identifying opportunities for business development
- Experience managing a team undertaking a leadership
