Personal Tax Manager responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring all compliance deadlines are met while identifying complex planning and advisory opportunities.
- Act as a technical lead on advisory projects, including inheritance tax planning, capital gains tax advice, and residency issues.
- Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, reviewing their work and supporting their professional development and CTA qualification journey.
- Maintain and develop strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring a bespoke, high-level service.
As the successful candidate you will
- Be CTA or ACA Qualified with significant experience in a personal tax-focused role within public practice.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of managing a client portfolio and delivering complex tax advice.
- Possess strong technical knowledge of UK personal tax legislation and experience with tax software.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and inspire a small team.
