Our client is an innovative, technology-led 2-Director Firm based in Bury St Edmunds that is currently undergoing a period of rapid growth. They are a forward-thinking practice at the forefront of the changing accountancy landscape, prioritising high-level client relationships over traditional processing.

Portfolio Manager responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end accounts process for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring high-quality FRS 102 and 105 compliance.
Act as a commercial advisor by providing bespoke management accounts and ad hoc reporting to help clients drive business growth.
Lead annual pre and post-review meetings, building deep-rooted, transparent relationships with business owners.
Support the Managing Director with strategic projects while utilising Xero and FreeAgent to innovate internal workflows.

As the successful candidate you will

Be AAT Level 4 qualified or ACCA part-qualified.
Have significant experience working within a UK accountancy practice.
Possess expert-level proficiency in cloud bookkeeping software such as Xero or FreeAgent.
Demonstrate a proven track record of managing client relationships and workflows independently.
