Our client has been an independent accounting practice for more than 30 years. Over that time, the firm has merged with and acquired other accounting firms and currently has five Directors and c15 staff. The firm's client base includes property, hospitality, travel and recruitment as well as a range of regulated sectors such as insurance, charities and solicitors. Whilst the client base is OMB focused, turnovers are up to £50m.

Practice Manager responsibilities include:

Providing operational support to the partners and monitoring the filing deadlines for the directors/staff.
Involvement with credit control, daily cashflow, setting up bank payments for approval and assisting with insurance renewals.
Assisting with new and potential client matters, including preparing fee quotes/proposals and on-boarding of new clients and ensuring all relevant systems are fully updated
Managing and overseeing the AML processes within the firm and assisting with ensuring adherence to office procedures/AML regulations and staff training.
Assisting with marketing and networking on an ad-hoc basis.

As a Practice Manager you will:

Experience within a similar role
Have strong management and problem-solving skills
Be able to communicate effectively at all levels
Experience with Xero, XPM, Chaser, Digita, CCH, Accountancy Manager or AML HQ would be beneficial
