Private Client Tax Trainee – Stratford or Colchester – Top 80 Firm

Our client is a fast growing Top 80 firm with modern offices located in Stratford, East London. The firm is young and entrepreneurial with experienced senior partners. They have a strong ethos of generating a team for the future and internal growth of their business is extremely important to them and can occur rapidly for the right person. The firm are seeking candidates who are hungry to reach partnership as they will need to grow their partner base in line with their own growth.

Private Client Tax Trainee responsibilities include:

Assisting with the preparation of personal, estate and trust tax returns, capital gains tax returns, inheritance tax returns and other related forms
Working with a wide range of clients, private individuals, estates and trusts
Advising clients of their liabilities
Ad hoc project work
Constant and effective liaison with all stakeholders including HMRC

As a Private Client Tax Trainee, you will:

Be working towards ATT/CTA or ACA/CTA qualified
Ideally have some previous Personal Tax experience gained in a practice environment
By working in Personal Tax Compliance working on directors of owner-managed businesses, property clients, HNWI's, landed estates, non-UK domiciled individuals and non-resident clients
Strong understanding and seeking a career in Personal Tax
