Responsibilities

As a Senior Bookkeeper you will:

Manage a dedicated portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and owner-managed business clients.
Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and oversee all day-to-day financial transactions.
Review and reconcile bank, credit card, balance sheet, and intercompany accounts.
Prepare and submit VAT returns ensuring full compliance with HMRC regulations.
Support clients with accounting systems, including Sage, Xero, and associated cloud applications.
Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies, challenging unusual transactions where appropriate.
Mentor and support junior team members to maintain high departmental standards.
