Responsibilities

Manage and develop a varied portfolio of tax clients across the Northamptonshire and wider South-East Midlands market.
Provide high-quality tax advice to private individuals, business owners, owner-managed businesses, and corporate clients.
Deliver a broad mix of advisory work tailored to your background and tax specialism, including areas such as personal tax planning, corporate tax, CGT, IHT, and property tax.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, local professional contacts, and internal teams across the wider network.
Lead, mentor, and support the career progression and development of junior members within the tax team.
Partner closely with Partners and senior leadership to identify growth opportunities and actively develop the Northampton tax offering.

As a Tax Senior Manager / Director you will:

Be CTA, ACA, ACCA, or ATT qualified, or possess equivalent qualification-by-experience with a strong public practice background.
Experience operating at Senior Manager, Associate Director, or Director level within an accountancy practice environment.
Demonstrate comprehensive expertise across mixed tax, personal tax, or corporate tax frameworks.
Possess proven experience in managing client relationships and delivering practical, commercially focused advice.
Be confident identifying client advisory opportunities and contributing to business development activity.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust with both clients and internal colleagues.
