Trainee Accountant – London – 5 Partner Firm

Are you a Trainee Accountant with 1 years’ experience looking for exposure to audit?

Our client a 5 Partner firm based in central London they are an approachable firm, offering a wide range of first-class services which are not only technically excellent but also delivered in a personal and friendly way. Their clients range from Shipping companies, Architects, Construction, Retail, Investment companies & Sole Traders with turnovers ranging up to £200mil

The workload will be a mix of 40% Accounts & Corporation Tax, 30% Audit, 20% Bookkeeping, 10% Statutory/admin. (The audit work is seasonal)

Trainee Accountant responsibilities include:

• Successfully prepare statutory year end accounts
• Prepare corporation tax computations and CT600
• Assisting on audits were needed
• Day to day bookkeeping
• Supporting Partners with the growth of the firm

As a Trainee Accountant, you will:

• Studying AAT level 3 or 4, or ACCA
• Minimum 1 year preparing accounts and bookkeeping in accountancy practice
• Audit experience would be beneficial but not necessary as training will be provided
