A Trainee Headhunter is sought for this specialist accountancy and finance recruitment consultancy as part of an exciting phase of expansion. Dealing with mid to senior level accountancy and finance professionals, we pride ourselves on being able to find the 'best in the market' candidates for our clients, with a focus on providing a quality service and building strong, long-term relationships.

You will be given a through an extensive and thorough training programme. You will research the market to gain an understanding of how to source the best individuals available, identifying and approaching candidates who will potentially fit our clients' requirements. This is a sales role and will involve significant time on the telephone to high-level candidates, therefore excellent communication skills and a professional and positive attitude are essential.

Responsibilities include:

• Calling candidates to offer our services and to arrange a time to speak about their career plans
• Mapping the market in order to find the best potential candidates using various online sources, in particular LinkedIn
• Ensuring the candidate database is kept up-to-date and accurate
• Providing a positive and quality-driven service to the firm's candidates in order to obtain candidate referrals
• Supporting the firm's Recruitment Consultants to provide a continuous supply of candidates for their active roles
• Maintaining a supportive relationship with placed candidates

Ideally you will have some exposure to a telesales, customer services or face-to-face sales role and be seeking a career rather than just a job.
