VAT Assistant Manager – Manchester – Top 20 Firm

They're also a part of a worldwide network of accounting firms, allowing them to provide various international secondments and transfers. Despite the international presence, the firm is renowned in the UK for its expertise in the London insurance markets.
VAT Assistant Manager responsibilities include:
- Tender proposals
- Assistance in VAT marketing initiatives
- Due diligence as part of Transaction Services project
- VAT input to insolvency/restructuring team
- Training staff/clients on VAT matters
- Investigation and resolution of VAT queries
- Review of VAT registration applications and VAT returns.
As a VAT Assistant Manager, you will:
- Be ACCA or ATT/CTA qualified
- Have over 4 years’ Indirect Tax Experience
- Exposure to managing a portfolio of VAT clients
- Experience with VAT compliance and advisory
- Strong knowledge of VAT
In return, as a VAT Assistant Manager, you will receive:
- 35-hour week
- paid overtime

- 10am-4pm core hours
- hybrid working (50% working from home)
