VAT Director – Top 20 Firm – London

Are you an experienced Senior Manager looking to take a step up into a director within an extremely reputable firm in Central London? Do you have experience and a keen interest in Business Development?

Our client is one of the most prestigious firms in the Top 20 with a whole host of household name clients, both individuals and corporates. The firm has a well-earned reputation for treating their staff well and offering a flexible and supportive work environment.

VAT Director responsibilities will include:

• Review advisory work prepared by the London and wider national team
• Opportunity to lead the development VAT work across the London office, focussing on our business advisory and not for profit clients
• Support the development of VAT team members across the national team including technical and non-technical training
• Active involvement in management and development of VAT team nationally, reporting directly to the head of VAT

As a VAT Director you will be/have:

• ACCA or CTA qualified
• Over 9 years’ Indirect Tax Experience
• Extensive experience managing a portfolio of VAT clients responsible for the delivery of all aspects of assignments, identifying opportunities and managing client relationships
• Extensive Experience for the delivery of VAT planning & advisory
• Excellent staff management skills
