Operating from a single, collaborative office, they offer an environment where you will work directly with Senior Partners and gain immediate exposure to the business operations of 3,500 individuals and owner-managed businesses.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing complex corporate accounts prepared by junior team members alongside sole trader accounts.
- Leading the preparation and finalisation of statutory accounts and corporate tax returns under FRS 102 and FRS 105.
- Managing a dedicated workflow to ensure all HMRC and Companies House filing deadlines are met with precision.
- Acting as a technical point of escalation for clients, handling daily queries and providing ad-hoc business advice.
- Training and mentoring junior staff members, fostering their development and ensuring high-quality output.
- Conducting research and providing assistance on complex technical areas, including creative tax relief incentives.
As an Assistant Manager you will:
- Utilise advanced system skills in CCH Accounts Production, Xero, and QuickBooks to deliver efficient client solutions.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term working relationships with a diverse client base of high-net-worth individuals and creative businesses.
- Work with a high degree of autonomy, managing your own portfolio under minimal supervision.
- Collaborate across all levels of the organisation, from bookkeepers to Senior Partners.
- Champion the firm's commitment to internal promotion as you transition into a full management role.
