Accounts Manager/Senior Manager – Chelmsford, Essex – Top 70 Firm

Our client is a fast growing Top 70 firm with modern offices located in Chelmsford, Essex. The firm is young and entrepreneurial with experienced senior partners. They have a strong ethos of generating a team for the future and internal growth of their business is extremely important to them and can occur rapidly for the right person. The firm are seeking candidates who are hungry to reach partnership as they will need to grow their partner base in line with their own growth.

Accounts Manager/Senior Manager responsibilities include:

Be the first point of contact for your clients, working closely with the designated Director.
Managing the financial performance of your portfolio with regards to fee levels, recoveries, WIP and Debtor positions.
Review of compliance work including year-end statutory accounts, VAT returns, management accounts and personal/company tax returns.
Supervising team members and managing workflow through the office.

As an Accounts Manager/Senior Manager, you will:

Be ACA or ACCA Qualified
Have over 2 years’ post-qualified experience & at least 5 years’ experience working within practice
Be experienced in managing a large portfolio of accounts clients
Demonstrate the ability to manage and develop a team of staff
