As an Accounting, Insight and Advisory Manager you will:

Manage a portfolio of private, SME businesses within the Northern region, overseeing budgeting, WIP management, and billing.

Project manage the end-to-end process of financial reporting engagements, including driving timelines, client liaison, and overall project delivery.

Review the technical accounting work of Assistants and Supervisors, ensuring high-quality output and optimal team utilisation.

Collaborate closely with other regional departments, particularly Corporate Tax, to ensure integrated service delivery and timely issue resolution.

Train, coach, and mentor junior team members to facilitate their professional growth and long-term career progression.
As the successful candidate you will:

Be a fully qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with extensive experience operating within professional public practice.

Possess deep technical knowledge of FRS 102 and FRS 105 reporting frameworks.

Demonstrate hands-on experience utilising professional accounts preparation software, specifically CCH or equivalent packages.

Exhibit strong working knowledge of cloud accounting ecosystems, including Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks.

Have proven experience overseeing financial services or accounting teams, including managing performance and directing workflows.
