Accounts Semi-Senior/Senior – Peterborough – Almost fully remote – Top 50 Firm

Our client is a growing and strong performing top 50 firm that has remained in the league tables through organic growth as well as acquisitions of several smaller offices. The firm offers excellent progression opportunities at all levels. Whilst they have a broad range of client sectors across the firm, they have recently focused on building on the key market sectors of Technology, Media, Hospitality, Education & Healthcare.
Accounts Semi-Senior/Senior responsibilities include:
- Completing moderate to large accounts preparation assignments
- Clearing queries directly with client and suggesting sensible solutions
- Reviewing team members' work before passing to manager
- Coaching juniors and providing feedback on the quality of their work and performance
- Controlling assignment timeframes in line with pre-determined budget
As an Accounts Semi-Senior/Senior you will be/have:
- Studying ACA/ACCA or AAT (Ideally with first time passes)
- At least 12 months experience including accounts preparation
- Up to date working knowledge of VAT
- Experience of using Sage, Xero and QuickBooks Online
- Client facing experience
