Accounts & Audit Senior Position - Harrow - Friendly, Local Firm

Our client is a progressive firm of accountants who have been established for over 40 years are seeking an Accounts & Audit Senior to join their team.
Audit & Accounts Senior responsibilities will include:
- Preparation and submission of statutory accounts - FRS 102 1A - Limited Companies and LLPs (reviewed directly by a director)
- Preparation and submission of corporation tax returns (reviewed by Tax Department)
- Leading audits from planning through to completion
- Review semi seniors' work
- Manage portfolios
- Direct communication with clients
- Assisting clients with accounts software and other queries
- Training clients on Cloud software
- On the job training of semi seniors and subordinates
As an Audit & Accounts Senior - you will:
- Be ACA or ACCA Qualified
- Have experience of leading audits from planning to completion
- Demonstrate the ability to lead staff during an audit
- Have a strong skillset across accountancy, including corporate tax.
- Preferably have working knowledge of ProAudit, Caseware and Alphatax
- Have experience of external auditing of small and medium sized enterprises under FRS102
- Have experience of external auditing of listed corporations under IFRS
- Ideally have audited large, consolidated group structures
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of, or passion for, the financial services sector
