As a Business Tax Assistant Manager you will be responsible for delivering tax compliance and advisory services including working alongside the corporate finance team on tax due diligence projects and succession planning assignments. In addition you will be training and mentoring junior colleagues within the Business Tax Team. The successful candidate will be expected to act largely autonomously, subject to support and oversight, as required, by the office’s tax partners and directors. Relationship management will be a key aspect of the role.

As a Business Tax Assistant Manager you will:

Have experience of managing a client portfolio, largely autonomously
Demonstrate an understanding of advisory work and a willingness to undertake this work
Have experience in reviewing work and training of junior staff
Be comfortable using tax software, ideally Alphatax
